Bursary-Funded VIPP Tickets

Supporting Scotland’s public-sector project owners to attend

What the Bursary Fund Provides

The Bursary Fund exists to ensure that public-sector delegates with direct responsibility for net-zero projects can attend the conference without budget barriers.

Eligible public-sector attendees will receive a fully funded VIPP ticket, which includes:

  • Access to all sessions and presentations

  • Admission to the Networking Zone

  • 5-star buffet lunch + refreshments

  • Video On Demand after the event

  • Inclusion in the post-event delegate list (GDPR-compliant opt-in required)

There is no cost for eligible public-sector delegates.

Why a Bursary Fund Exists

Public-sector teams across Scotland have repeatedly told us that:

  • Training budgets are extremely limited

  • Travel and CPD budgets have been significantly reduced

  • Many project owners are unable to attend external events due to cost constraints

  • Collaborative sessions like this are essential for sharing best practice and accelerating delivery across Scotland

The bursary ensures that the right people with real projects can be in the room.

How the Model Works

Instead of charging public-sector delegates, the event is supported by a small number of carefully selected private-sector partners whose technologies, innovations or solutions align with the key project themes.

This enables us to:

  • Fund attendance for qualifying delegates

  • Curate a relevant programme built around real project challenges

  • Ensure the highest-quality networking environment for everyone involved

This model has been successfully delivered for more than a decade.

Who Qualifies for a Fully Funded VIPP Ticket?

To qualify, delegates must:

Work for a public-sector, third-sector or not-for-profit organisation

Hold responsibility for net-zero, estates, assets, facilities, housing, transport, sustainability or infrastructure

Be accountable for current or upcoming projects within their role

Agree to share their contact information with other attendees (GDPR-compliant) to support ongoing collaboration

Complete the VIPP application form in full

Private-sector companies cannot register for a VIPP ticket.

Any commercial organisation, regardless of size, must register through the Private-Sector Access page.

We manually review every VIPP application and reserve the right to decline any registrations that do not meet the criteria.

Data Protection (GDPR)

We protect delegate information carefully:

  • No personal data is shared pre-event.

  • Only delegates who opt in will appear on the post-event delegate list.

  • Delegate details are only shared with other registered attendees and official event partners.

  • No data is ever sold, exported or shared beyond this event ecosystem.
